the wizarding world was indeed in shock, after the coming news that voldemort was alive, and on the prowl. after the great fight within the confines of the ministry of magic, harry, and the rest of dumbledores army return to school amidst talks and rumours about what went on that fateful night. harry, heartbroken and hurting after the loss of his god father sirius black, at the hands of bellatrix lestrange has somewhat shut himself off from the rest of the world. the constant pain nagging at him as he attemps to continue on with his life without the support or help from his godfather.

but his journey is only just beginning, as he embarks on a very new one. he's come into possession of a potions book, which holds many a way to create the perfect potion. harry is unsure of whom this book belonged to, the only clue as to who owns it comes in the form of the name 'the half blood prince' which so far helps him naught. dumbledore is acting strangely, more passive than usual and harry is trying to figure out what is going on and get on with his life at the same time, while the rest of the school come to terms with the big news - everything seems hard and everyone is scared out of their minds trying to figure out what is to happen in the following years.
